Welcome to the Mansergh Clan News:

This is the first edition of what is intended to be a semi-regular update of what is happening with the Mansergh Clan, in particular the Clan Rally.

You are receiving this email because you are a member of the Mansergh Clan, or because you have shown interest in the Mansergh Clan.

It would be great to hear from people with news to share ... if you have anything to include please let us know via email.  We also have only a limited number of email addresses ... please send this newsletter to others you know, and please let us know email addresses.

Official launch of website:

The Mansergh Clan website is officially up and running.  There are lots of opportunities to include photos, family tree information and news from members of the clan.

Visit the website at:  www.manserghclan.com

If you have any comments, corrections, photos, information or questions, please contact via email.

Announcing Clan Rally 2008:

The dates have been decided for the next Mansergh Clan Rally.  They are:

Friday 19th - Sunday 21st September 2008

Preparations have now started, and you will be kept up-to-date with information via newsletters and website

The tree in the logo has a double meaning ... firstly representing family trees, and tracing roots; and secondly, representing a particular tree still standing on the property at Grenane where the Mansergh family used to sit when collecting rent from their tenants.

Births, Deaths, Marriages and Anniversaries:

Birth:  The most recent Mansergh birth (that we are aware of) was on 25 March 2006 - congratulations to KAREN and PHIL and new GRANDPA MANSERGH on the safe arrival of Saphia - Love to you all and all your team including TALIA and FINN - From Margo, Mike and all Manserghs in UK

50th Wedding anniversary: Duane and Joy Patterson of Wausau celebrated their anniversary in July 2005 at a small family gathering in Madison, WI, where they met and were married.
Wedding:  Michelle Rutherford, 2nd daughter of Judith (nee Mansergh) and Bernie Rutherford, married Patrich Trobbiani in June of 2005 in Melbourne Australia

Mansergh Curios:

One section of the website includes a number of items of curiosity ... some of them we have no idea about, and would like some help in identifying them.  If you can assist, then please contact us via email.

OR, if you in turn have any interesting items that would go well in this section, please let us know.

Recent gatherings:

Suzie has been catching up with people as she travels around the world for work.  In September of last year she caught up with Adrian Mansergh-Wallace in Argentina ...

This and more 'mini reunion' photos are in the news section of the website.
